Walk and Talk

What is a walk-and-talk consultation?

First, let me tell you what it is not. It is NOT a home inspection. A home inspection is an inspection that uses tools such as a moisture meter, thermal imaging camera, and many other tools to identify defects and to look for function and safety issues in the home. A walk-and-talk consultation is a 60-minute, one-on-one observation of your home with your licensed, certified, and insured home inspector. These consultations offer you valuable information about your home before you list it for sale, begin a home improvement project, or just want to know if there are any needed repairs. Having a trained professional with you as you tour your home together can provide you with information you otherwise might have missed. There are many components to a home—for example, the roof, heating and air-conditioning system, plumbing, electrical system, and so on. Having someone who is trained to identify potential problems in these components can give you peace of mind, whatever direction you choose to go.

In just 60 minutes you can know if your house is in need of repairs both big and small—and the nice thing about these consultations is that they are totally unbiased, because home inspectors are generalists and have no vested interest in providing you false information only to gain a contract for a job. At Rising Tide 2020, my main goal is customer service and providing you with peace of mind when it comes to you and your home. So whatever your next steps are, whether selling or improving your home, don’t hesitate to schedule your consultation with your home inspector and let me do the heavy lifting for you.
